AFL– All AFL umpires wore the laces and waived Zaidee’s Goal flags in Round 14.

Victorian Bushrangers – State cricket teamwore Zaidee’s Rainbow laces in each game during the season 2008/9.

Vixens (Victorian Netball team) –wore the laces in their game on Monday 30thJune 2008.

NRL – all NRL Referees wore the laces in Round 12.

Victorian Racing Committee –held a race at Flemington in January which was named the “ Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation Plate” to support the awareness campaign.

Medibank International Tennis, Sydney – all ball kids andlines officials wore the laces in 2008.

Australian Basketball WNBL – all teams wore the laces in the 2008/09 season.

Australian Basketball NBL – all 13 teams wore the laces in the 2007/08 seasons.

Mornington Peninsula Football & Netball League – 4,500 football and netball players wore the laces in a Zaidee round in May 2008.

Bata Shoes– named a black school shoe after Zaidee which was launched during its Back to Schoolprogram which began in January. Bata Shoes sold 5,130 pairs of Zaidee shoes nationally, all of which had Zaidee’s Rainbow Laces in them.  The program was supported with point of sale displays and national advertising.

Bunning’s Warehouse– Sold Zaidee’s Rainbow Laces for a 4 week period in June.  17,000 pairs of laces were sold during this period.

Mike Brady– wrote and recorded a song called “Zaidee’s Rainbow” in June 2008 with the Australian Girls Choirsinging the backing track. 

Bata Shoes– in 2007 Bata Shoes named a black school shoe after Zaidee and sold 5,130 pairs nationally, all of which had Zaidee’s Rainbow Laces in them.  In 2008/9 they again supported the Zaidee Rainbow Foundation and again sold the Zaidee shoe.  This year’s program was supported with additional national billboards as well as a Foxtel Television commercial supporting Zaidee’s shoe.

2007:

NRL all 16 NRL teams wore the laces in Round 1 of the season, beginning on the 16th March 2007.

State Hockey sides, Men and Women – all state sidesworethe laces in 2007.

Australian Men’s Baseball – wore the laces at theAustralian State Championships in Perth in January 2007.

Australian Mixed Netball– wore the laces in Fiji in the regional Championships in 2006.

Corporate Supporters: (To name a few)

Embracia Age Care has been the sponsors for the AFLNAB Auskick program for the past 3 years giving away over 431,750 pair of laces.

OTI Racing (Melbourne) –named a 3 year old filly “Zaidee’s Rainbow”.    The directors of the company are former Australian cricketer, Simon O’Donnell and well known racing identity Terry Henderson, who amongst other things, owned Melbourne Cup winner Doriemus.

Disability Sports Victoria– have thrown their support behind the campaign, as many of their members require transplants.

Skansen Giftware – launched the Zaidee’s Rainbow Poncho Beanie BearinJune 2007 and again in 2012 a new bear.  Over 35,000 Zaidee Beanie Bears were sold nationally.

Middy’s Electrical– ongoing supporter of the Foundation both financial and stores selling laces. 

Bunning’s Warehouse– Sold Zaidee’s Rainbow Laces for a 4 week period in June 2006.  17,000 pairs of laces were sold during this period.

Zaidee’s Rainbow Hair Net Day

In 2005, 10,000 people in the Goulburn Valley region support Zaidee’s Rainbow Hair Net Day.  In 2006 this number grew to approximately 50,000 Hospital and food manufacturing workers in Victoria wearing rainbow hair nets. In 2007, 100,000 people support Zaidee’s Rainbow Hair Net Day nationally.  In 2008 between 150,000 and 200,000 people supporting Zaidee’s Rainbow Hair Net Day including 25,000 Bunning’s staff wearing the hair nets. 2009 reflected 200,000 people support this campaign nationally. 2011 this program was stopped due to the cost that the Foundation had to cover – looking for a sponsor for this going forward.
