What's the Challenge?
It's up to you!! You can choose and enter distance challenges from 25km to 200+kms to run in the month of October. You can choose the challenge that's most applicable to your fitness and experience.
Where's the Challenge?
It's up to you!! You can choose where and with whom you run. Whether it be the beach, bush, bike track or back road, just make sure you run in a safe and sensible environment on a course that you're comfortable running
How do COVID-19 Lockdown measures impact the challenge?
They don't!! As a virtual running challenge, you can run when you want, where you want, with whom you want. Zaidee's Run For Life promotes a fit and healthy lifestyle in line with the guidance provided by state and federal governments.
How can I log my kilometers?
You can either link your Strava, Fitbit or MapMyFitness account or log km's manually. To log via a fitness app, start by downloading and creating an account with your preferred app or logging into the app you use, then log into your Zaidee's Run for Life account and follow the prompts in the ‘My Fitness Activity’ tab. Alternatively, to log your kms manually, simply login to your Zaidee's Run for Life account, head to the 'My Fitness Activity' tab and follow the prompts. Just a heads up, you can link before the event, but come 1st of October, all counters will be reset back to zero.
Remember when using your selected app, you'll need to jump into that app and start, stop and save your workout. Please also note that workouts can take up to 24 hours to load.
How do I Register?

How does the Team thing work?
Why not combine your challenges? Simply create or join a team and combine your km's with your workmates, teammates or family members and fundraise together!! Team member numbers are unlimited, so sign up as many teammates as you can!
What's the best way to fundraise?
Set a lofty target. Your supporters are more likely to sponsor you if they see you have a goal and they can help you reach it.
Where does the money go?
The funds you raise will go to Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation to continue their work in raising awareness and closing the gap between those in need of organs and tissue and the number of registered donors. Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation will donate a portion of the funds raised to Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.
Are donations tax deductible?
All cash donations of $2 or more are tax deductible for Australian tax payers. and tax receipts are automatically issued via email when your supporters donate through your fundraising profile. Please note, if the cash donations are in exchange for something material like a raffle ticket or an auction item then they're usually not tax deductible. If you're unsure, please consult a registered tax agent for clarification.
